Yeah, my life has been insane the past few months. I have lots of art that I haven't posted at all, mostly due to not knowing if I could post it or not. Anyway, I have a new job now at a place called 'Epipheo,' which is a super cool place, and is best described as an animation house. I am one of the freelance designers but I'm not going to bore you with what it is I do.
BUT there is a thing we have been doing that has been lovingly dubbed 'Draw Time, Fun Time.' and basically we (the designers) get story prompts from the writers, and make an illustration based off one of the prompts.
We work on them about 20-30 minutes a day, starting with pencil and paper sketches, then taking them into the computer and finishing them however we want. Now, I'm not a digital artist, I am very much a traditionalist, so this is pretty foreign. But, I thought 'Why not, I need to practice computer skills anyway!'
So here is the illustration I did, my first fully digital illustration ever. So I still have plenty of room to improve, but I thought I'd share. The prompt will be in the illustration description.
"Do you think we can make it? I think so.
Besides, what other choice do we have?"
So that's it, hope it excites. I know my work digitally isn't nearly as good as my work traditionally. I'm working on that. Anyway, I hope to be able to post more often, key word there is hope. Until next time!
