Back to Pages!

The pages are back!

Well I have been working on school projects and various paintings, but I have finally been able to get to finish page 16. My school work has piled up over top of this page, so unfortunately this took so much more time than I was hoping it would. Anyway, here it is, in its fun black and white glory.

Yeah, unfortunately a two panel page took
way longer than it should have.

Alright time to keep up the drawing and continue churning out some artwork like it's nobody's business! I will keep it all updated!

Commander Cody Commish..

Well, not exactly a commission, BUT it it more of a request by way of my roommate Nate.

He wanted a picture of Commander Cody, the awesome clone trooper commander who got the order to kill all the jedi. I thought it would be fun to make a little painting of him.
This little guy was fun to do.
It's not too large, only about 6"x9",
so a nice little piece to have around.

I won't be able to sell this little guy, because it is already spoken for, but I will make some prints of it, because I would also like to have my own little copy of it. So I do realize that the past two paintings I have made are Star Wars pictures, I promise the next one will be something that is not a Star Wars piece. Catch ya later bloggers!

Here comes Big Pharm

So I just finished pg 15 of Golem, and this is the introduction of one of my favorite characters, the manic, heavily roided "Big Pharm". He is super fun to draw and the next pages are going to have him fighting Golem, so keep on the lookout for those!

Here's the art!
Unfortunately Dry-brush wood texture doesn't
replicate perfectly when you threshold your art,
but, oh well, it'll be colored anyway!

As I said before, the next full pages are a good ol' fashion beatdown, so be on the lookout for more pages! Talk to you later bloggers!

Big Bad Boba!

So here is a fancy thing for y'all,

I did a piece of art, more like a painting. I gessoed a surface, and drew out Boba Fett.

Boba Fett.

Cause I love him.

I then airbrushed the local color, then I cleaned it up with colored pencils. Check him out.

This one used the technique I did for my Cap and Iron Man drawing.
Except instead of acrylic wash, I used an airbrush.

Alrighty there you go! This I will make prints of this and they will be for sale. Let me know if you would like to pick one of these as a great decoration on any wall! Even a bathroom!

Talk to you later bloggers.

Since You've Been So Patient...

You get a couple of new Golem pages.

You're welcome.

This is page 13 AND page 14, tried some new stuff with these pages, I was inking the majority of these with my brush, and adding the meticulous detailing with a crow quill. I had a good time experimenting with these brushes.

Will most likely continue in this brush endeavor. Anyway here are the pages.

draw ALL the boxes.

I love this page.
Especially that "Thwap" panel.

There you have it!

Two pages, I know, I was feeling generous tonight. Also two blog posts in two nights?! It's outrageous, it's ludicrous, it's wonderful! But anyway that's what I got for ya. Stay tuned for more art in the future!

Adios Bloggers!

Da-Da-Dynamic Duos!

Oh my dear bloggers,

I am terribly sorry that I haven't posted in months. Literally. Months.

And there is so much to catch up on! The biggest thing by far is that I am now engaged to the woman of my dreams! She's pretty amazing, and I pulled some fun pieces of art for her for her proposal.

I decided to make her a small book that was centered all around "Dynamic Duos" and I illustrated 4 duos that are famous in the Disney world, and 4 duos in the comic book world. And they were super fun to draw! Especially the Disney stuff!

So I will start off with the disney ones that were in the book, not necessarily in order, but the ones I like the most to the least!

I absolutely love this picture.
It's just adorable in all the right ways.
*ahem* Moving on.

This was a very close second.
Mostly because I have always wanted to
do a Woody and Buzz drawing,
and this was the perfect excuse for one.

Now this one was just straight up fun to draw.
So much fun.

And this one is fun,
drawing Marlin was great,
he has such fun contours in his face.

And now onto the comic book drawings!

Good 'ol Captain America and Bucky.
For obvious reasons, this was my favorite.

Iron Man and War Machine was
also super fun to draw.
 Really loved this one.

The idea of this one was more the thing
that made me love this picture.
Not so much the execution, but the idea.

And last but not least, Batman and Robin.
Most people that know me know that I'm not a huge fan
of Batsy here, but these two definitely
made sense for the story I wrote.
So here they are.

And those are the illustrations that I made for my wonderful bride-to-be. She loved them and has a small little book that she can show her friends how dorky and cheesy her future husband is. And I'm okay with that.

Now I have a good couple of things that I have to post up. but I don't want to overload this post with art, so I shall return with more comic pages and more fun artsy fartsy pieces! Talk to you later blogdience!
